- GlobeRovers: Rating: 9 / 10
- Buzz Line: "Iceland for Icelanders. ... no more!"
- Eagle Eye: An island with so much history of vikings and natural geo formations and disasters, it is a geo wonder-world and a place to savour very very slowly.
- Hot Spots: Take the ring road and make sure to drive a 4WD and go off the main road. Hike around the many national parks...slowly
- The Low-down: Still a very expensive place. Drop the vehicle and go hiking. Go in summer and book everything long in advance
