• GlobeRovers Rating: 7 /10
  • Buzz Line: "If you like Mr/Ms. Kim and Kimchee - you'll love about everything in Korea"
  • Eagle Eye: Mountains and beaches - lots of culture, great food (especially if you love Kimchee), and some offshore islands. Lots and lots of culture and Korean nationalism!
  • Hot Spots: Seoul - the City of soul! The DMZ (North Korea border) for a peak into the unknown, the culture rich city of Gyeongju, along the coast in the south and of course, the romantic island of Cheju-do in the far south. Good map here
  • The Low-down: Go in the heat of the summer and soak up the Korean culture and nature. Go in the winter and ski down the slopes. Make some local friends - the Koreans are lovely people. I've been there five times and can't wait to go again.
