Icebergs from Upsala Glacier, El Calafate, Patagonia

Perito Moreno Glacier.
This wall of ice is about 60 meter high (above the surface of the water). The background appears black even though this picture was taken during the day. The reason: the light reflected by the glacier is so bright that I had to set my camera lens on an extremely fast shutter (1/8000 of a second). It was so fast that the glacier looks great, but the background sky turned out totally black because the sunlight is so much lower than the brightness (lux) of the glacier.
