- Eagle Eye: Ruled until 1985 by hard line Communist Enver Hoxha (died April '85), Albania's dark days are long gone. Its a lovely country and capital Tirana has more Mercedes Benz cars per capita I have ever seen....though Albania remains one of the poorest countries in Europe. Go figure!
- Hot Spots: Funky Tirana with lots of restaurants and late night entertainment. Mountains and coastline in the south.
- The Low-down: Good value for money but not an overly exciting destination.
